As if we didn’t know, Adam Lambert confirmed that he is a gay. The American Idol runner-up recently declared for 'Rolling Stone': "I don't think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear that I'm gay." Oh my God, exactly when I was ready to propose him!
"I'm proud of my sexuality. I embrace it. It's just another part of me", the rocker added. Recently he was seen in public holding hands with interior designer Drake LaBry.
Luckily, Lambert says that "I'm trying to be a singer, not a civil rights leader", so he won’t be just another star who’s only contribution is the fact that he sustains that gay people are fun.
He says that being in the show was a self confidence test. "I finally checked into my self-worth for the first time in my life, and the fact that it coincided with Idol is so sweet. I mean, I still have moments where I think, 'Oh, my skin is terrible, and I'm a little fat -- I should really go to the gym more.' But for the most part, when I look in the mirror now, I finally see somebody who can do something cool."
