Mimi posted on Twitter recently to let us know why she chose to go with those three emotionles images for the album cover:

HMMM. My guess was that she really featured three images of herself for the album cover because she couldn’t decide which image showcased her boobs in the best way. You may recall that MC announced the title of her new album on Twitter and now she tweets the album cover. You gotta love when all of the info comes straight from the horse’s mouth. To be honest, I like this album art … I mean, it’s so Mariah Carey … don’tcha think?

Eva Mendes Gets Saucy For Two New Calvin Klein Ad Campaigns

Last September, Eva Mendes caused quite a stir after she appeared all nekkid and stuff in a commercial for the Calvin Klein fragrance Secret Obsession. And now … Eva is back for more CK hawtness. Mendes is featured in new promo ad campaigns for both Calvin Klein Jeans and Calvin Klein Underwear (she is coupled up with model Jamie Dornan for the undies promo ad). Here is our first look at Eva Mendes’s new promo ad for Calvin Klein Jeans:

Calvin Klein Jeans was singled out by the media on Tuesday for its provocative billboard at the corner of Houston and Lafayette streets in Manhattan, which show a seminude threesome. It’s the kind of media attention the brand thrives on, but soon it will be out with the old ads and in with the new — and for fall, the campaign includes actress Eva Mendes and Jamie Dornan. Steven Klein shot the duo in, true to form, racy new black-and-white images for Jeans and Calvin Klein Underwear. In addition to billboards, there will be Jeans ad inserts in the August issues of Lucky, Elle and GQ, and the September issue of Vanity Fair, as well as cover gatefolds in W, Nylon, Details and Interview. For women and men’s underwear, four-page ad units will run in In Style and GQ. Mendes has developed close ties to the company, adding the new Underwear and Jeans campaigns to her work in Calvin Klein Secret Obsession and the current Underwear campaign. Sean Penn Drops Out of ‘Three Stooges’ For a Sabbatical

Actor Sean Penn has dropped out of an upcoming film project, The Three Stooges.  His fans will be disappointed to find out that he will not be lending his talents to the role of Larry in the upcoming remake.  The reason behind his drop?  Penn is reportedly going to take a much needed sabbatical.

Stating personal reasons, Penn and wife Robin Wright Penn have had their share of marital problems and have recently called off their legal separation for the second time.  One thing seems clear–they apparently want to make their marriage work.

His plan is to take at least a year or more off to focus his attention on his family.  We wish the Penn family our best!

Word is Britney Spears is engaged to marry new man Jason Tranwick — who just so happens to be the pop tart’s agent.

Star Magazine Jason popped the question to Brit while they were on vacation in the Bahamas last month.

“He didn’t exactly get down on one knee, but Brit didn’t care. She said yes, and they opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate,” says an insider. “Jason held Britney for a long time and kissed her cheeks. They talked about their future for hours and didn’t go to sleep until after 3 a.m.! They just wanted to be alone together.”

Report: Victoria Beckham Gets Boob Reduction

New image, new boobs? That’s what the Sun is claiming today, anyhow. Now that she’s a serious fashionista, Victoria Beckham has allegedly had another boob job, but this time to reduce the overinflated chest that balanced precipitously on her stick-thin frame. “Victoria has wanted her implants taken out for a while. She felt that was part of her old WAG image — the big hair, big boobs, fake tan — and that she has moved on since those days. She had the op three weeks ago and is very pleased with the results,” says a source.

VB was pretty flat-chested during her Spice days, but she amazingly grew some perfectly round orbs that tickled her chin after having first son Brooklyn. She originally denied ever having surgery, but referred to them in her 2007 program Coming To America, saying, “I really thought that one of my silicones was going to fly out of my armpit then.”

Exclusive Interview: Lauren Conrad

Ever since she was a little girl, Lauren Conrad had big dreams of being involved in fashion. What she didn’t know was that a hit reality show on MTV would give her the biggest break of her life. The reality show “Laguna Beach” started Conrad’s small screen debut and resulted in nationwide love for the “girl-next-door”. A few years later and a spin-off show, “The Hills”, of her own would land Conrad smack dab in the middle of the world of her dream…fashion. “The Hills” transformed Conrad into a reality television star and gave her the opportunity to live out her dreams. Not only is she a reality television star and a fashion designer, Lauren is a spokesmodel and a fiction writer. “LA Candy” is the first of a series of three books that Lauren is set to release. In fact, her book is on bookshelves today, June 16, 2009.

Danity Donnaly got the privilege of chatting it up with the dahling Ms. Conrad to dish on her experience as a reality star, her new book LA Candy and more. Check out the entire interview below!

DANITY: First, Lauren…it’s inevitable…we’ve gotta talk about “The Hills”. So…now that your time on The Hills is done, what can you say is the biggest thing you learned about yourself throughout the whole experience?

LAUREN: I learned a lot about friendship and trust and hard work. It was a great experience and really do miss the crew. They were like a second family to me.

DANITY: I bet! I mean, it’s been what…five years. Did you ever think that when you signed a contract with MTV FIVE years ago that your show would be as successful as it came to be? I mean, people were obsessed!

LAUREN: You never really know but you always hope anything you put your mind and hard work to will be successful. I am glad so many people watched the show and felt like they could relate to us.

DANITY: What about regrets? Do you have any?

LAUREN: Not at all. It was a great experience.

DANITY: Ok, so onto your book deal. What inspired you to write a book, let alone a whole series of books?

LAUREN: I have always been a lover of books. I think reading takes people to another world and really allows you to relax and unwind. I wanted to write this to give my readers a fun read. It in a way it is an extension of the show.

DANITY: Aha. Many are reading excerpts from your first book and looking at it as a rendition of your own life. What do you say about that?

LAUREN: There are characters that are loosely based on me and people I know but it is really just a fun look into the world of reality TV, something I know a lot about.

DANITY: Well, isn’t that the truth?! So, I’m assuming that the next two books of the series will include storylines based off of the original characters?

LAUREN: Yes the second book, “Sweet Little Lies”, which comes out in February, will begin where “LA Candy” left off. I just finished writing it and it is really good. I learned so much from writing book one so I think it shows in book two. I will start book three later this year.

DANITY: Fabulous! So, besides a fashion line and a book series, what other projects do you have in the works?

LAUREN: I am starting a new line with Kohl’s…LC Lauren Conrad…which will be out in October and I am also working on my own line The Lauren Conrad Collection. I continue to be a spokesperson for mark cosmetics and support the mpowerment campaign.

DANITY: You are one busy girl. So my question is, do you have any desire to work on a television show or movies in the future?

LAUREN: I never say never, but I can say that I definitely don’t want to pursue and acting career.

DANITY: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

LAUREN: Hopefully continuing work on my fashion lines.

DANITY: Can you tell us something that we wouldn’t already know about you that would maybe even surprise us?

LAUREN: I don’t like to watch TV.

DANITY: Interesting. Ok so I have a reader question here now…how do you deal with real drama and rumors in life?

LAUREN: Like everyone else. I try to not let them get to me and try to stay true to who I am.

DANITY: And I think that is what everybody loved you for…is for your “realness”. So now that the Hills aren’t involved, what does a day in the life of Lauren Conrad consist of?

LAUREN: I have been really busy writing my books and working on my lines.

DANITY: Now the Danified question of the hour, do you consider yourself classy, sassy or trashy?

LAUREN: Classy and sassy for sure.

DANITY: Fabulous. Ok, girl so give us a sales pitch. Why should we go out and purchase LA Candy?

LAUREN: I think it is a great summer read and a way for people to unwind and live in Jane Roberts dramatic world and get away from their own lives for a few hours.

Bruce And Emma Willis In W Magazine July 2009

Bruce Willis, 54, and his model wife Emma Heming, 32, are taking over the July issue of W Magazine with an S&M-themed photo shoot.

On their public displays of affection Bruce tells the mag:

“We’re sickening.  We make out in public. I know there’s some rule that you’re not supposed to be doing—what is it? Public displays of affection?”

“PDA,” Emma adds.

“I went from ‘Fuck Love’ to ‘Love is truly the answer.’”  I spent the last 10 years single and, for the most part, unhappy. In a dark place. I never thought that being with someone else was the answer. I would say, ‘I’m alone, but I’m not lonely.’ But I was just kidding myself. Then I started hanging around Emma, and on a day-to-day basis my life became much happier.”

He also says their romance blossomed after just one date adding:

“We went on one date, on the Friday before Emma was getting ready to move back to New York, and then we fell mad crazy in love.  When you think about where are you going to find that big love of your life, you seldom think it’s someone you already know.  You think it’s someone you’re yet to meet.”

Their issue of W Magazine hits newsstands nationwide June 23.

Gisele Vanity Fair Cover Worst Sales for 2 Years

The Gisele Vanity Fair cover (above) was a bomb in terms of sales and according to reports, the model herself is getting the blame. Who knew that professing a love of baby snatching was enough for you to fall out of people’s favour.

Nude model gristle on the cover led to some of the publisher’s poorest sales in two years. So, around the last time you took a solid sh*t was the last time this magazine did this badly. You could blame the recession or you could jump on the bandwagon and hate her for being a roid vadge edition baby snatcher. Dude, claiming other people’s babies as your own is not going to make you popular.

Its May issue featuring the gorgeous Gisele Bundchen’s nearly naked sold 280,000 single-copy sales — the lowest-selling issue of the publication in nearly two years. What was Vanity Fair’s response to the tough sale?

Morgan Freeman’s Side Piece: “I’m About to Expose the Truth”

Morgan Freeman is looking for a little lawsuit redemption.

The Oscar winner adamantly denies nearly all of the allegations put forth by an acquaintance who has sued him for negligence after they were in a rollover crash together last August.

In fact, the only thing he admits to is that a crash occurred while he was behind the wheel of plaintiff Demaris Meyer’s 1997 Nissan Maxima, according to court documents filed Friday on Freeman’s behalf in Mississippi.

But while Meyer’s suit states that Freeman lost control of the car after knocking back several drinks during the night, his lawyer argues that they’ll show Meyer was “comparatively negligent.”

The filing doesn’t explain why that is, nor does it address Meyer’s public claims that Freeman hung her out to dry when it came to the postcrash rumors that she broke up his 24-year marriage.

Meyer maintains that she had just met the Million Dollar Baby star earlier that night and that, though she had been invited to spend the night at the sonorous actor’s estate, she was just going to sleep on one of the smaller houses on the property to avoid a long drive home in the middle of the night.

“I had hoped and prayed that Mr. Freeman or his representatives would have set the record straight and cleared my name, but they have not done so and that is why I have chosen to come forward to tell the truth about our relationship,” she said upon filing her complaint in February.

Should have just stuck with his wife and he wouldn’t be in this bullsh*t right now. SMH

The Essential Breastfeeding Log: A Feedings Tracker and Baby-Care Organizer for Nursing Moms

When my baby girl was first born I tracked every single feeding and poop in a little composition notebook for a good five weeks.

Something about being able to keep track of whatever entered or exited her body made me feel a little more in control.

Such is the premise of a new book, The Essential Breastfeeding Log, by Suzanne Schlosberg and Sarah Bowen Shea ($15).

The authors, both mothers of twins who have breastfed all their children (as well as logged all their feedings!) created this book to help new moms keep tabs on their kids’ feeding habits. The book offers four log formats modified for your baby’s age. There’s also a spot for writing little notes to remember precious time spent with your babe.

This was a useful book for first-time moms who want to be organized and are into logging everything, but it is by no means necessary. In fact, as a breastfeeding counselor I would urge new moms to worry less about watching the clock and instead watch your baby.

That said, for the mom of multiples, or even for a working mom who needs to keep to a pumping schedule I could see how this would be a great log to own. Since it is peppered with other information (like how to get you body back in shape and tips about gear) it’s worth the price tag if you are the type who likes to keep track of these types of things.

Rihanna & Chris Brown on Game 5 Guest List

Rihanna and former boyfriend Chris Brown are reportedly on the guest list for Game 5 of the NBA finals with the Los Angeles Lakers taking on the Orlando Magic. Brown was spotted at the game wearing dark sunglasses and black clothing. The Associated Press has confirmed Rihanna is scheduled to make an appearance at the Amway Arena in Orlando. The two were also present for Game 4 of the finals, but were not seated next to each other. Brown, 20, pleaded not guilty in April to one count of assault and one count of making criminal threats related to an alleged domestic violence incident involving Rihanna in February. Earlier this week, Rihanna was subpoenaed to testify in Brown's trial by the Los Angeles DA's office.

Madonna Gets Mercy

Madonna gets whatever she wants and she’s about to receive her newest acquisition.

You’ll remember that Madge lost her original bid to adopt Malawi orphan Mercy, but The Sun is now reporting that Malawi’s Supreme Court is set to approve her appeal application this Sunday.

Madonna, 50, whose two-year application to adopt the three-year-old was blocked by a court in March, has been told the news by her lawyer Alan Chinula.

The ruling is set to be announced next Sunday at Malawi’s Supreme Court of Appeal.

A source there said yesterday: “The paperwork is being typed up now.

“All recommendations are in favour of the adoption taking place. Mercy should start packing her bags. She’s off to America.”

A close friend of Madonna said: “She’s ecstatic.

“She made a promise that she wouldn’t give up on Mercy and, believe me, she could move mountains when she’s this determined.”

Madonna’s adoption application was originally rejected because she had not lived in the east African state for 18 months, as required.

But one of the three appeal judges has said that rule was out of date.

The pal added: “No stone has been left unturned to prove that ruling was wrong.”

Congrats to Madonna and her crew!  I think it will be nice for David to have a little sister who hails from his home country.

Adam Lambert admitted he is gay

As if we didn’t know, Adam Lambert confirmed that he is a gay. The American Idol runner-up recently declared for 'Rolling Stone': "I don't think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear that I'm gay." Oh my God, exactly when I was ready to propose him!
"I'm proud of my sexuality. I embrace it. It's just another part of me", the rocker added. Recently he was seen in public holding hands with interior designer Drake LaBry.
Luckily, Lambert says that "I'm trying to be a singer, not a civil rights leader", so he won’t be just another star who’s only contribution is the fact that he sustains that gay people are fun.
He says that being in the show was a self confidence test. "I finally checked into my self-worth for the first time in my life, and the fact that it coincided with Idol is so sweet. I mean, I still have moments where I think, 'Oh, my skin is terrible, and I'm a little fat -- I should really go to the gym more.' But for the most part, when I look in the mirror now, I finally see somebody who can do something cool."

I Take That Back

I am officially retracting my Bradley Cooper blog saying how The A-Team isn't the best next move for him...maybe it is. Liam Neeson is in talks to play Col. John Hannibal for the feature adaptation of the TV show. I'm pretty impressed! With a cast like this, the movie may actually make it....and it makes me believe that the script isn't half bad to have these stars attached. Nice catch A-Team. No fools will be pitied.

Miley and Justin Are Done Screwing With Billy Ray

Miley Cyrus and Justin Gaston are through with their pedophilic shenanigans.  I guess either his shelf life expired or she got too old for him.  Either that or she got bored with playing out her daddy issues for the international press.  From E! Online:

The 16-year-old starlet has ended her nine-month romance with the 20-year-old underwear model, sources close to the duo exclusively confirm to E! News.

The Hannah Montana star called things off last week as she prepared to leave Los Angeles for two months to shoot her Nicholas Sparks movie, The Last Song, in Savannah, Ga.

Speculation of trouble peaked yesterday when the two simultaneously twittered about tears and goodbyes.

A source close to the couple says both of them are really heartbroken over the split.

Well, that’s pretty lame and boring, but there’s apparently more to the story.  Supposedly, it was a Jonas Brother who drove a wedge between the knicker dummy and the hillbilly:

Gaston, a Louisiana native, has told pals that the star’s resurrected friendship with Nick Jonas this spring was his Achilles’ heel.

“She obviously has been hanging out with Nick again a lot, and Justin was cool with it at first, as long as it was just a cool, friendly thing,” says an insider. “She didn’t cheat, but I guess Nick was trying to get her back the whole time.”

Yeah, that’s still totally boring.  I can’t even put into words how little I care about some dirty old man panty mannequin’s angst, or about Hannah Montana and Little Jonas dry humping each other whilst praying or whatever.  Everyone involved in this nonsense is creepy and disgusting.

Miley Cyrus is single

Good news for Justin Gaston. He’ll no longer have to worry about being prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law because, despite the fact he has a shirt woven by God, Miley Cyrus broke up with him.

“They have been having trouble for a while,” says the insider. “It’s been hard for a long time since Miley has been working so much and traveling a lot.”

Ha! Good luck trying to get Johnny Depp to play you in a movie now that Miley isn’t on board. And good luck trying to trick another 15-year-old into liking you. Kids are a lot smarter these days and a white van combined with a bag of candy from the Sweet Factory won’t cut it anymore.
